Warren Smith comes to CPH2 with several years’ experience in the subsea and umbilicals sector, having worked for Forum Energy Technology and IK-UK. His career highlights so far include being involved in development of a subsea rescue vehicle and being part of the team that manufactured a fully electric car. He also undertook the AutoCAD module as part of his mechanical engineering degree which included Siemens NX and Solidworks software amongst others. Also studying Fluid Mechanics to give him a greater understanding of fluids under varying pressures and the effects of external variables.
Warren brings with him a strong leadership track record and enjoys a daily challenge, which is a good thing as he’ll be working alongside his big brother Gavin (Technical Engineer) developing our technology.
Going to the gym most days is Warren’s passion as he’s trying to look younger than his brother. ‘Most people think I’m older than Gavin because of my beard’ Warren said. His music and film preferences are very broad, watching anything from Lord of the Rings, Star Wars to animated films and horrors.
He’s not a big drinker, preferring a coffee but when he has a tipple it’s usually a strong cider. He likes most foods, but would much prefer a home cooked meal to eating out.
Welcome to the team, Warren.
