CPH2 raises much needed funds for Eves Trust

Each year, as part of our commitment to support the local community, CPH2 chooses a local charity or cause to help support either with voluntary work or by raising much-needed funds. In 2023, we chose The Eve Merton Dreams Trust, a charity that helps grant the wishes of patients and families affected by serious and terminal cancer conditions.

Last year, through a series of events, including fancy dress days, themed bake-off competitions, and the 15-mile Round Sheffield Walk, the team put in maximum effort to have fun while raising money and creating awareness for the charity. In addition, the company contributed by donating £20 for every business improvement suggestion made throughout the year to boost the final total to £2,019.74.

Kate Timms, QHSE Engineer, said:

“I have personal experience of the amazing work that The Eve Merton Dreams Trust does for local families affected by cancer. I wanted to give back by raising money for the charity, so I nominated them for the CPH2 charity of the year. I can’t believe how much we’ve raised”.

Martin Lawrence, Co-Founder of The Eve Merton Dreams Trust, expressed his gratitude for the amount raised through these activities; said

“This amazing amount of money raised by CPH2 will help make a real difference for multiple local families who have been effected by cancer. The positive impact that answering a dream or granting a wish can make, will empower both patient and family with new enthusiasm and strength. No matter the dream, no matter the request, this amount of money is vital for a charity such as ours as it gives us the tools to make that difference. Thank you, CPH2”.
